Think Pink with Against Breast Cancer and Dishmatic
Here at Dishmatic we’re thrilled to once again be teaming up with Against Breast Cancer. The aim of which is to raise much needed funds and increase awareness of breast cancer during October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Who is Against Breast Cancer?
Against Breast Cancer’s mission is to stop secondary breast cancer from claiming lives. Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, Against Breast Cancer receives no government funding so each and every donation makes a real difference.
Uniquely, the charity’s efforts and research focus on how the body’s natural defences could be harnessed to design more effective treatments and, ultimately, a vaccine against the disease. In addition to this, the money raised goes towards designing tools to enable earlier diagnosis of secondary breast cancer to increase survival rates.
Against Breast Cancer also researches how diet and lifestyle choices may increase or reduce the risk of secondary breast cancer. They provide sound, evidence-based advice, tailored to the UK population.
On the matter of donations, Kelly Gibson, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Against Breast Cancer, points out that donations go towards all-important research into “earlier detection, reducing risk and new treatments” for breast cancer.

Dishmatic is proud to once again be donating £10,000 to Against Breast Cancer. We’re also happy to announce that our limited edition pink Dishmatic will be back in stores to further raise the profile of Breast Cancer Awareness Month during October this year.
Our ever-popular pink Dish Friend will be available in Asda, Co-op, Morrisons, Sainsburys, Tesco, Waitrose, and Wilko throughout October 2018.
