Thank you, everyone, for your support during Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October). It was a privilege to be able to shed light on such a worthy cause and we couldn’t have done it without your help!
We are pleased to congratulate Mel Hayes who has won our Mumsnet competition. As a result of this, we donated another £500 to the charity Against Breast Cancer. Read on to find out what this donation means to Mel, as well as the wonderful impact it will have on the charity!
Competition winner, Mel Hayes, commented - "I was very excited to win the competition and so pleased that £500 was donated to breast cancer research in my name. I have personally known people who have had breast cancer and therefore it is great that a donation in my name will be helping to fight this terrible cancer."
Kelly Gibson, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Against Breast Cancer commented - "This partnership has been wonderful for Against Breast Cancer. Not only for the original £10,000 donation to dual brand the Dishmatic products but for the awareness this campaign has raised with Mumsnet and their audience. We are delighted with the additional £500 donation which will all go towards our vital research into secondary spread breast cancer and hope Melanie enjoys her prize.”
